This year, Walk Cabarrus is dedicated to showcasing local walking spots in Cabarrus County with its Walk of the Month feature. For July, take advantage of National Park and Recreation Month to discover the Vietnam Veterans Park Loop, a 1.7-mile mostly natural-surface trail conveniently located between Concord and Kannapolis, North Carolina.

This easy and scenic route can be completed in about 30 minutes. After your walk, don’t forget to log your steps at walkcabarrus.com and enjoy the park’s many amenities. Whether it’s a round of Disc Golf, some fun at the playground, a game of basketball, or feeding the ducks at the pond, there is something for everyone.
