Fall Highlights: Celebrate Oktoberfest in Cabarrus County
Oktoberfest is one of the world’s most famous celebrations, originating in Munich, Germany, over 200 years ago. What began as a royal wedding celebration in 1810 has since evolved into a worldwide festival, marked by lively music, traditional costumes, hearty food, and of course, lots of beer.
While the original event spans 16 to 18 days, communities across the globe have adopted the Oktoberfest spirit, creating their own versions of the festival that reflect local culture and flavor.
In Cabarrus County, the Oktoberfest celebrations are no exception, offering unique experiences that bring a taste of Germany to North Carolina.
