This cozy 3.5-barrel operation, founded by Carl-Jay Castaneda and Neil Grassi, offers a welcoming environment that blends the comfort of a neighborhood hangout with the sophistication of a top-notch brewery.

Percent Tap House is known for its small-batch brews and a constantly rotating selection of beers, ciders, meads, kombuchas, and craft sodas. With 32 taps, the offerings range from classic IPAs and lagers to more experimental brews like smoothie sours and their popular “Thrift Shop” series—a playful nod to the building’s previous tenant.

The Peak Light American Lager, one of their flagship beers, has gained recognition as the #1 lager in the state of North Carolina according to Untappd, and even ranks #10 in the country.
