Step into history with a modern twist at The Bank, Kannapolis’ new food hall housed in the historic Cabarrus Bank and Trust building.
The Bank’s Transformation in Downtown Kannapolis
Located at the corner of West B St. and West Avenue, this 1950s-era bank building has been transformed into a must-visit food destination while preserving its classic charm.
Walking into The Bank feels like stepping into a bygone era—preserving the charm of Kannapolis while giving locals and visitors a fresh, new place to hang out.
Infamous Artwork Pays Homage to Notorious Bank Robbers
Back in 1929, following the stock market crash and the onset of the Great Depression, bank robberies surged across the country. In a clever homage to the building’s past, The Bank Food Hall features artwork depicting some of history’s most infamous bank robbers.
You’ll also find tables with lots of pictures of Kannapolis history as well. It’s the perfect backdrop for enjoying food and drinks in this creative, historical setting.
The idea behind The Bank is simple—bring together a collection of food vendors under one roof, where you can try something new every time you visit. Whether you’re looking for a sit-down meal or a quick snack, there’s something for everyone.
Sip on Creative Cocktails at The Bank Robber’s Bar
Anchoring the space is The Bank Robber’s Bar, a full-service bar offering a curated selection of beers, cocktails, and liquors. With options like the classic Moscow Mule or the creative Wasted Day (a refreshing blend of tequila, cucumber, mint, and soda water), there’s a drink for everyone’s tastes.
Want something a little more adventurous? Try the Red Bull Watermelon Margarita, or, if you’re feeling bold, go for a Pickleback shot. The drink menu also includes wine, draft beers, and a selection of imported bottles from countries like Belgium, Ireland, Germany, and Japan. This bar is set to become a favorite for locals and visitors with its fun and creative menu.
