The Living Room Reading Series produced and directed by Jonathan M Ewart, presents Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf by Edward Albee as part of their 14th season, The American Dream – Classic American Playwrights.
This reading will be held in the Blackbox Theatre at Old Courthouse Theatre (47 Spring St. NW Concord, 28025). *Please note, the Blackbox Theatre is only accessible by stairs.
First staged in October 1962, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf examines the complexities of the marriage of middle-aged couple Martha and George. Late one evening, after a university faculty party, they receive unwitting younger couple Nick and Honey as guests, and draw them into their bitter and frustrated relationship.
