Beer enthusiasts and honey connoisseurs are in for a treat Saturday, August 12th between noon and 10pm with a day filled with honey-infused fun, live entertainment, yummy food, and even a chance to win a guitar!

The day will begin with the much-anticipated release of the Honey Drip Hazy IPA. High Branch has collaborated with Bryan Fisher again, a local beekeeper renowned for producing some of the best honey in Cabarrus County. 120 pounds of Bryan’s honey was carefully incorporated into the brewing process, resulting in a unique IPA that perfectly balances the rich flavors of hops with the delicate sweetness of honey. Bryan will be present at the event to share his expertise and answer all your burning honey-related questions. Plus, he’ll have his premium honey available for purchase.
What’s a celebration without music? Local band, Little Blue Fish, will be performing from 5-7pm and they have a surprise in store – a chance to win a free guitar! To enter the guitar giveaway sweepstakes, simply join the Little Blue Fish mailing list by visiting their website. Only one entry per person with a valid email address. The lucky winner will need to claim the guitar in person at High Branch on the day of the event.
- And if that’s not enough to get your heart racing, why not try your hand at axe throwing? Test your aim and channel your inner lumberjack from 6-8pm, right outside the taproom.

The Gibson Mill Market upstairs will be “abuzz” with a variety of honey-themed dishes from various vendors. From Barco’s mouthwatering Honey Hot Wings and Honey Cocktails to Kuni’s Hit Honey Tuna Bun, there’s something to satisfy every craving.
Don’t miss out on the Honey Cinnamon Latte from Defined Coffee, the irresistible Honey Fudge Ice Cream from Churn Buddies, or the Grilled Honey BBQ Sandwich from Johnny Roger’s, smothered in homemade honey-infused barbecue sauce. And for dessert, indulge in the Honey Teddy Graham Cracker Cookie from Cara’s Cookies – a sweet treat that captures the essence of the event in every bite.
High Branch Brewing is a family run brewery that was founded by TJ Creighton in 2015. Originally, the single barrel brewery and taproom opened across the parking lot from their current location. With an abundance of support from the community, they outgrew their equipment and space within a few years, and they were approached about moving into a larger space under the proposed Gibson Mill Market. They moved in July 2021 with the new space boasting a 10-barrel system, a wrap-around bar, an official event space, and a covered outdoor patio!
Specializing in Hazy IPAs, High Branch Brewing constantly pushes the boundaries of flavor and craftsmanship, reaching for that “higher branch” with each and every batch. With 16 taps offering a diverse selection of beverages, including the ever-popular Promise Ring Hazy IPA, and Orange Dreamsicle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
