In Cabarrus County, the Cabarrus Victims Assistance Network (CVAN) has provided a support system for survivors of domestic violence since its establishment in 1982. With a mission to provide safety, shelter, and support for battered women and their children, CVAN has been actively working to end domestic violence in the community for over four decades.
