Cindy Sheppard, the owner of ShoeBeeDo in Concord, has been designing and handcrafting leather shoes, bags, and accessories since 2005. Her journey began in a home workshop before transitioning into a physical store in downtown Concord in 2016.

Beyond the walls of her shop, Cindy has showcased her work at the Carolina Renaissance Festival as the Village Cobbler for nearly 2 decades.
🎥🏆 Her dedication to craftsmanship has not gone unnoticed, earning awards that include Our State magazine’s Made In NC Award in 2018 and the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitor Bureau’s Golden Helmet Award for 2023 Small Business of the Year.
Workshops at ShoeBeeDo’s Maker Space
In addition to the retail store, ShoeBeeDo also has a Maker Space—a welcoming environment where individuals can explore the art of leather crafting. Here, novices and seasoned artisans alike can partake in hands-on workshops led by Cindy herself.
