As many of you know, Downtown Concord is undergoing a significant transformation. The city has embarked on an ambitious project to revamp the Downtown Streetscape, which promises to transform the area into a more pedestrian-friendly and visually appealing space. While the construction may cause some temporary inconvenience, it is important for the community to continue to support local businesses during this time.
The Downtown Development team is partnering with downtown businesses to create events such as “Christmas in July” to encourage community members to support local. This fun and festive event is designed to bring holiday cheer to the community during the summer months. This event will feature holiday-themed decorations, music, and activities, and will provide an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and services.
Christmas in July: “A Christmas Extravaganza”
It’s time to celebrate Christmas in July! Downtown Concord, NC is hosting a festive event like no other. Get ready for holiday cheer, twinkling lights, live music, and special surprises from business owners. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 15th, and take your loved ones out for a magical day filled with joy and merriment!
Downtown Concord Kid’s Zone (ages 3 and up)
- 10:00am–10:45am – Storytime at Mac Tabby Café
- 11:00am–12:00pm – Christmas Crafts and a Visit with Santa at Playroom Social
- 1:00pm–2:00pm – Lunch Time (dine and support local restaurants)
- 2:00pm–3:00pm- Decorate Christmas Cookies at Sweet Life (Each child will decorate “2” cookies) $6 per child

The Magnolia Room at Cabo Winery has lots of vendors setting up for Christmas in July! Shop candles, bath/spa items, room sprays, crystals, customized burned hats, jewelry and so much more!! They will also have a special on their Winter Wines: Mistletoe Red (Warm mulled wine) and Ella’s Wings (Chardonnay sweetened with cranberries and apples).
