Get ready to rock and roll because the Rockin’ the Burg Community Concert Series is back! Harrisburg Park will come alive with music, food, and fun on May 11th as the popular concert series returns for another season of family-friendly entertainment.
- The Rockin’ the Burg Community Concert Series is held on the second Saturday of May, June, August, September, and October, promising an incredible lineup of live music and delicious food.
The event kicks off at 6:30pm with the opening of the Beer Garden and Food Trucks. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets, and head over to secure your spot for the show. The local opening act starts at 7:00pm, followed by the Bon Jovi Tribute Band ‘Shot Thru The Heart,’ taking the amphitheater stage at 7:30pm. Best of all, this concert is free for the community to enjoy!
There will be a variety of food trucks including: Better Together Hot Dog Cart, Chef Kenny’s Kitchen, Eggroll Company, GGC Smokehouse, KO Food Truck, Kona Ice, Mama K’s Kettle Corn, Pelican’s and Sprinkles Cookie Co., but feel free to bring your own food if you prefer.
- Outside food and drinks as well as coolers are allowed. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL.
And let’s not forget about the beer garden! Thanks to Beer Garden Partners, Cabarrus Brewing Company, Percent Tap House, and Dover Vineyards, you can enjoy a refreshing beverage while you soak up the music and atmosphere. Remember to bring a valid ID if you plan to visit the beer garden.
For your convenience, parking is available at Harrisburg Park on a first-come, first-served basis.
