History & Haunts Walking Tour: Explore Concord’s Spooky Past
This October, The Historic Cabarrus Association, Inc. invites you to step into the shadows of Concord’s past with *History & Haunts*, a lantern-lit walking tour that delves into the city’s haunted history.
As you make your way through downtown, local storytellers will guide you through eerie tales at some of the city’s most storied landmarks, blending history with the supernatural. From the Historic Cabarrus County Courthouse to the Concord National Bank and beyond, these stops promise a glimpse into both the rich past and the ghostly whispers of what still lingers.
Whether you’re intrigued by history or drawn to a good ghost story, this tour offers a chilling, yet fun, experience for all ages. Tours are scheduled for Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19, with additional dates on Friday, October 25, 2024, and Saturday, October 26, 2024. Each night offers two walking tour times—6:30pm and 8:30pm—but be sure to reserve your spot soon as space is limited. Tickets are $13 per person, and all are welcome to join in this unique experience.
