Join the Piedmont Choral Society for their highly anticipated Christmas Concerts on Dec 6th at 7pm and Dec 7th at 3pm at Calvary Lutheran Church (950 Bradley St, NE, Concord, NC). The Piedmont Choral Society, an auditioned 4-part choir of 50 talented singers, is dedicated to delivering high-caliber performances of sacred and secular choral works. Under the direction of Joseph Judge, Associate Professor of Music at Pfeiffer University, the choir brings a mix of festive choral pieces that will surely get you into the holiday spirit.
On Dec 8th at 4pm, the Piedmont Community Band will present its holiday concert, “Home for the Holidays,” at the Hickory Ridge High School Auditorium. This performance will feature a blend of traditional holiday music, fun twists on your favorite seasonal songs, and a sing-along with children ringing in the holidays with jingle bells! As a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization, the Piedmont Community Band is proud to showcase musicians of all ages, from high school students to seasoned seniors.
These holiday concerts are supported by the Grassroots Arts Program of the North Carolina Arts Council and the Cabarrus Arts Council.
