Why is this event unique? There are lots of 5K races in our community and they often include 1 mile walks, but no other 2-mile walks! This event is great for people looking to go the “extra mile”!
It’s perfect for people of all ages, families, and seniors! And this year, the event has added a little more FUN with a Costume Contest since the date is so close to Halloween. Kids get a chance to wear their costumes one more time and adults get to be creative too!
- Individual Costume ($50 prize) – costume of only one person
- Group Costume ($100 prize) – 2 or more form a group (can include kids)
- Kid’s Costume ($35 prize) – Individual (must be 12 and under and registered in the event).
