Rocky River Coffee Co. isn’t just a coffee shop…it’s a community hub where friends gather, family’s bond, and delicious memories are made.
Established in 2004 by a Harrisburg couple, the shop came into its own when Dave Damone, an entrepreneur from Virginia with a deep love for coffee, took over in 2007. He saw an opportunity to create something special—a place where people could come together and enjoy not just great coffee but a whole family experience.
For Dave, Rocky River Coffee Co. wasn’t just about serving coffee; it was about creating a space where everyone felt welcome. In his pursuit of building a community-centric establishment, Dave expanded the menu beyond just coffee, offering a full breakfast, lunch, and even ice cream.

With a welcoming atmosphere and a menu that caters to all ages, it’s the perfect spot for a family outing. Plus, they offer discounts for teachers and first responders, recognizing and appreciating their invaluable contribution to the community.
In 2023, a new chapter began for Rocky River Coffee Co. when Kyle Baker, a former law enforcement officer with an entrepreneurial spirit, joined forces with Dave. Their partnership was more than just a business venture; it was a meeting orchestrated by fate.
Kyle describes it as “God’s timing,” and together, they envision Rocky River Coffee Co. not just as a place to enjoy great coffee and food but as a beacon of light in the community—a place they affectionately refer to as “Christ’s Coffee Shop.”
With a commitment to serving only the finest gourmet coffee, alongside incredible pastries, New York bagels, and homemade ice cream, Rocky River Coffee Co. has become more than just a coffee shop—it’s a destination. The shop offers a variety of espresso drinks, light fare, and sweet treats in a modern, laid-back space with patio seating.
If you love their regular drip coffee, you can now purchase it in-store. Additionally, it offers a range of lunch options available daily from 11 am to 2 pm. One of the favorites is the smokehouse turkey panini, made with freshly sliced turkey, bacon, cheddar cheese, and sundried tomato pesto, perfectly paired with a side of chips or your favorite drink.

As Rocky River Coffee Co. celebrates its 20th anniversary, the sense of community and camaraderie is stronger than ever. To commemorate this milestone, Rocky River Coffee Co. is hosting a Customer Appreciation Celebration on May 11th from 5 pm to 9 pm. Join them for an evening of fun, giveaways, and, of course, great coffee!
