The Bigger Picture for the Weekend

The rainfall gradient across the Carolinas this weekend is stark. The coast and southeastern communities will see meaningful and beneficial rainfall, while the Piedmont and western Carolinas remain mostly dry with only drizzle and grey skies to contend with. The chilly air will make Saturday feel more like early April than early May across most of the state.
