This Weekend, Washington D.C. Flips to Summer as Highs Surge From 64 to 90 Degrees With Near-80 Temperatures Expected for Much of the Rest of May
WASHINGTON D.C. — After running more than 2 degrees below average through the first third of May, Washington D.C. is about to flip the switch to summer. Temperatures at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport are forecast to surge dramatically beginning this weekend, with highs averaging near or above 80 degrees for much of the rest of the month.
