GRAND POINT, Louisiana — A Tornado Warning is in effect right now for Grand Point, Louisiana and Lutcher, Louisiana as of 9:09 PM Monday, May 11, 2026, with radar updated at 9:11 PM showing a dangerous rotating storm signature directly over the warning area near Convent and St. James.

If you are in Grand Point, Lutcher, Convent or St. James, Louisiana, stop reading and take shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building away from all windows.
